Holding hands

So my boss just got back from the Phillipines. While he was there he attended church and made some friends at church. What he didn't realize, is that men hold hands in the Phils. So imagine if you will a middle aged man walking hand in hand with various men, feeling slightly strange, and talking to them about who knows what. It gives me a good chuckle.

That's funny! I didn't witness it, but I would have chuckled to myself if I did. It's customary in Malayalee culture to hold hands with people of your own gender when you talk, so it was fun to watch Marei go from awkward to ok with it. (chuckle) Women do it here too, just like in Kerala. I am so used to it from my own culture that I didn't even recognize that it was a thing here until your post. Funny how that works!
